why are boiled peanuts so good?

I stopped on the way back from Jacksonville on Saturday to get myself some boiled peanuts on the side of the road. It was pouring rain and I wanted to change my CD while stopping, so I saw some signs advertising Papa John's boiled peanuts and I got a bag and they are pretty yummy. I think Jason will kill me if I decide to make some at home.

I found out that Papa John's peanuts are from Jacksonville and they sell them at their baseball stadium for the Jacksonville Suns, their Southern League team.
